Random thought(s)
Ulcerate's Everything is Right is a somewhat pervasive album. It's definitely Death Metal but in a very strange melancholy way, creeping slowly into my mind no faster than the lines of ants on my computer table. Reminds me of the 2-piece UK wonder Mithras, who also play Death Metal from outer space. For sure, EiR is not the most lucid album ever, but for a supposedly experimental album, this is much less opaque. The experimental approach also mitigates the need for brutal palm-muted riffs all the time. As a result, a sound and listenable balance is maintained, albeit without any standout song. After 8 songs, the album does seem to become hackneyed a little bit, but I guess that's why they put only 8 songs in.

Embracing the moment
Nothing new, except I just got through a very bad week with bad exam results & subpar presentations. This quarter is heading to a bad direction, though I still have time to redeem my grade. Nonetheless I have to admit the chance is slim.
I also started working out after a 1.5 week hiatus. I vowed to improve my fitness, coz it had been constantly free falling for the last... 20 years or so I guess :)). Yeah I've seen people struggling with their health but to be honest, I've always been such a bullyhead and never paid real attention to solve this problem. So yeah it's a bit late but "better late than never".

Busiest week academic-wise
It's sunday already and homework assignments are tossing up higher than ever. I'm gonna quit bitching about them right now and embark on a new campaign to finish the majority today.
In the end, it's about me incurring the problem myself, so I can't complain, just relish the purgatory.
